Mariah Tuffy, MSW, is a trilingual social worker with over 20 years of experience teaching and empowering people from all over the world to improve their relationships and sexual health while decreasing shame and stigmas. Her knowledge spans comprehensive sexual education, sexual self-care, and fertility education with a specialty in unexplained infertility for women over 35 and recurrent pregnancy loss.
Mariah earned her Master’s in Social Work from the University of Southern California, and holds a bachelor’s degree in Human Development from Eckerd College. She created a mentor program for youth in Puerto Rico and leads the Fertility and Sexuality Program for Golden Girls Global, an international initiative for women and girls to explore their own creativity and fertility through their bodies. She also writes mental health curriculum for middle and high school age students, and is opening her own coaching, education and counseling platform with a focus on women's sexual health.
Mariah’s expertise goes beyond traditional education and support groups. She builds communities where youth and adults of all backgrounds and genders can safely, openly and confidently navigate their sexual health journeys. Participants in her programs leave feeling more knowledgeable, less alone, less stigmatized and with tools to support their emotional and mental health as well. Her dynamic, real and culturally sensitive approach ensures that her trainings, one on one sessions, and small groups are accessible and deeply impactful.
"I am a lifelong learner, traveler, and adventurer who has settled into life in Florida as a happy wife and animal and plant Mom, while still praying every day to birth a child. Having lived in seven countries, I’ve led many lives, gifting me a lifetime of experiences: cross-cultural relationships, diverse sexual journeys, and deep self-discovery. All along the way I have shared open conversations about sexuality, sexual health, and fertility. Through my teachings, I aim to help women and girls of all ages navigate their sexual health, feel seen, release shame, and feel empowered in their bodies, minds and lives. I am also the daughter of Melissa Michaels, so embracing healthy self-expression and supporting others is at the core of who I am!"
